Sonya Pearson, Ph.D. leads Community Partnerships at Bright Starts Pediatrics. She brings nearly three decades of executive leadership experience and more than 15 years focused on building strategic partnerships that expand access, strengthen systems, and improve outcomes.

Dr. Pearson works closely with organizations, providers, and community leaders to develop relationships that support families seeking early developmental guidance, screening, and services. Her background includes healthcare operations, compliance, workforce development, resource acquisition, and revenue cycle management. She is known for helping organizations improve coordination, streamline processes, and build structures that support consistent, high-quality care.

Dr. Pearson’s leadership is shaped by a strong commitment to inclusion and community impact. She approaches partnership-building with a service-first mindset, focusing on practical collaboration that leads to sustainable support for families and stronger networks of care.

With dual doctorate degrees in Psychology and Law, Dr. Pearson brings a rare interdisciplinary perspective to problem-solving, strategy, and systems development.
